About the Asset
This is a game-used bat from Japanese legend Sadaharu Oh that was used between the 1977 and 1978 seasons and is signed by Oh is both Japanese and English. It has been graded as a GU 10 by PSA/DNA and is the only Oh bat to receive that grade thus far.

About Sadaharu Oh
Unquestionably the greatest hitter in the history of the Japanese baseball leagues, Oh is a legendary power hitter who holds the all-time world record for career home runs with 868. He holds a number of major career records, won 9 MVP awards and 11 Japan series titles and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. After his playing career, Oh was a longtime manager and guided Japan to the title in the inaugural World Baseball Classic. At the age of 81, he remains a towering presence in Japanese baseball.

With the emergence of Shohei Ohtani as the best player in baseball this year (and the most exciting player in generations) interest in Japanese baseball is growing. Whether that will transfer to an interest in other players and their memorabilia remains to be seen.

Frank Robinson 500th Homerun Signed Bat GU
About the Asset
This is the bat that Frank Robinson used to hit his historic 500th HR on September 13th, 1971 — becoming just the 11th man to reach that mark at that time. The bat has been authenticated and graded a GU 10 by PSA/DNA and is signed and inscribed by Robinson.
It was originally purchased for $125,000 in late 2020/early 2021 according to Collectable.
