Joe DiMaggio 1951 Game-worn jersey
About the Asset
This is a game-used Joe DiMaggio road jersey from the 1950 and 1951 (his last) seasons. It carries an A10 grade by Mears and is not photo-matched to a specific game.
While Rally does not often use the retained equity model, they are here. According to the SEC filing, they acquired the jersey for $190,000 in cash and $225,000 in retained equity for a total of $415,000.

About Joe DiMaggio
I already wrote at length about DiMaggio here. This does give me an excuse to link to a great old-timey song about him, though.

Keep in mind that with a 50% retained equity level, shareholders will have no say in any future buyout offers.
Kevin Durant 2017 Playoffs Warriors Jersey
About the Asset
This is the Warriors home jersey that Kevin Durant wore in Game 2 of the 2017 Western Conference Semifinals against the Utah Jazz. The Warriors went on to win the NBA title that year. It is photo matched and certified. It was purchased by Otis from Heritage Auctions on February 28th for $21,600.
About the Drop
This asset already dropped on Otis this week with a value of $22,800. As of this writing it is less than half fully funded so there is an opportunity to invest if you’d like. Otis’ assets have been trading within 30-60 days of the IPO and then they trade daily, though the secondary market has been rather thin for most assets.
About Kevin Durant
I just wrote about Durant when Otis IPO’d his Nets debut jersey. Nearly everything in that entire article applies here, as well.

It will be worth watching after it opens for trading if the Nets look like they might win the title and Durant’s profile rises. Though, unlike the Nets debut jersey, with this jersey there is no other value to Durant winning a championship because it’s a Warriors jersey from a season where they won the title.
